OPENMINDS Child Intervention Services aim to provide a holistic approach to intervention for children and adolescents who are facing difficulties with their emotional well-being and developmental delays.
We have a team of clinicians consisting of Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Therapists, Psychomotor Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists who aim at implementing the most sought-after intervention plans that are based on research and individualized to every child, family, and school.
We provide a range of therapies and services individualizing each assessment, program, and workshop to the needs of our clients.

APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS (ABA Therapy)
Applied behavioral analysis (ABA) is a therapy that addresses concerns regarding child and adolescent development, behavioral difficulties, social difficulties, and educational barriers to progress. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Registered Behavior Technician work loosely with the individual(s) in the clinic, school, home, or community setting.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational therapy uses play-based activities to develop motor, cognitive, sensory, and behavioral skills in children. This helps to improve their school performance and aids their daily activities.
SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY
Our speech & language pathologist works to prevent, diagnose, and treat speech, oral and written language, social communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adolescents.
PSYCHOMOTOR THERAPY
The psychomotor therapist evaluates the development of motor and perceptual competencies (coordination, laterality, space awareness, body awareness, time awareness, attention and body perception, and others). The psychomotor therapist evaluates the child’s psychomotor development and puts a therapeutic plan to compensate for deficits using evidence-based techniques such as relaxation, movement, sensory, and perceptual exercise.
CHILD PSYCHIATRY
The child and Adolescent Psychiatry team focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental health disorders with a patient-centered holistic approach.
CHILD PSYCHOLOGY & PSYCHOTHERAPY
Child psychologists provide psychotherapy for children and adolescents with various emotional and behavioral difficulties that could result from trauma, a physical illness, a mental illness, or learning disabilities. Our latest evidence-based interventions and counseling is specifically tailored for the need for each young mind.
TEACHER & PARENT WORKSHOPS
Workshops are provided by qualified professionals and experts in their respective fields. They can be provided for groups or families. The main objective is to present practical strategies to prevent problem behavior, handle it if it arises, and provide an overall nourishing environment for toddlers or children in a classroom and home.
EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY & ASSESSMENTS
Our assessment team is composed of an experienced clinical psychologist. They can identify children’s specific learning styles, strengths, and areas of need through conducting a comprehensive assessment. Also, emotional and behavioral assessments are designed to measure and observe behavior, thoughts, and emotions to arrive at a diagnosis and guide treatment.
Child Home Care Services
Our Home health services provide clients with high quality therapies. Our team is made of occupational therapist, speech and language therapist, psychomotor therapist, and ABA therapist.
