Personal Experience & Biography
Asmahan Saleh Khalil is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 10 years of experience in the field of behavioral intervention.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, obtained her board certification in 2016 and is currently a PhD Research Student with Queen’s University Belfast.
Asmahan’s experience includes children and adolescents with varying forms of behavioral support needs and diagnosis, including but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She has a special interest in working with adolescents on functional and vocational programs, community integration, and sexual health education.
Asmahan is also the author of the children’s book “The Day the World Went Boom”, and has held numerous workshops, trainings and webinars directed towards parents and professionals in order to guide them on the application of evidence-based interventions for an optimal intervention journey. She is one of the founding members of Association of Behavior Analysis in Lebanon (ABAL) and is currently a board member. She is also part of the ParentWise NGO’s multidisciplinary team aimed at raising awareness about common childhood concerns.
